Most Facebook ad example lists show you ads someone liked. This one shows you ads brands have kept paying for.

Every ad below was still running on October 6, 2026, and every one has been live for at least 451 days. The median is 764 days. Brands switch off ads that don't earn their spend, often within a week or two, so an ad that survives for more than a year is one of the clearest public signals of a winner you can get.

For each of the 50 ads you get the creative, how long it has run, where it ranks in the brand's own account, how many ads use it, the hook, why it works and one thing to steal. The data comes from Adspo, and every ad links to its full record so you can watch it yourself.

Demo ads: show the product working

The most common long-running video format is the simplest: point a camera at the product and let it do its thing. 15 of the 21 videos in this list are demos.

1. Tony's Chocolonely: the s'mores skillet that has run since 2022

Tony's Chocolonely's longest-running ad isn't about chocolate bars at all. It's a recipe video: a skillet of s'mores made with Tony's bars, filmed so you can almost smell it.

1543 days running

Ad data:

  • Running for: 1,543 days (since July 2022), still active
  • Impression rank: #14 of Tony's Chocolonely's creatives
  • Format: Video: demo
  • Markets: US

The hook: the copy opens with "S'mores for you, s'mores for me and s'mores for the whole family in minutes!"

Why it works: It sells a moment, not a product. The chocolate is the hero ingredient in something people already crave, which gives the brand a reason to show up in feeds without a discount.

Steal this: Show your product inside a use people already love, not on a white background.

2. Henson Shaving: a razor under the microscope

Henson's ad is a product engineering demo. The founder-style narrator puts the razor "under the microscope" to show why the blade doesn't flex.

1069 days running

Ad data:

  • Running for: 1,069 days (since November 2023), still active
  • Impression rank: #31 of Henson Shaving's creatives
  • Format: Video: demo, explainer
  • Markets: US, Canada and other markets
  • Ads using it: 6

The hook: "So, I'm going to take you under the microscope here."

Why it works: Razors are a crowded, low-trust category. A visible stress test turns an abstract claim ("smoother shave") into proof you can see, and the headline "Blade Support Matters" tells you exactly what to look for.

Steal this: If your product is better for a technical reason, film the test that proves it.

3. Breeze Balm: a selfie demo of the result

A woman talks to camera and shows how she covers pigmentation with Breeze Balm's BB cream. It looks like a friend's story, not an ad.

Ad data:

  • Running for: 967 days (since February 2024), still active
  • Impression rank: #16 of Breeze Balm's creatives
  • Format: Video: demo, customer testimonial
  • Markets: US, Australia
  • Landing page: product page

The hook: "I wanted to show you how I get rid and smooth out all of my pigmentation."

Why it works: It names a specific problem in the first sentence, then shows the before and after on a real face. The click goes straight to the product page, so there's no friction between seeing it work and buying it.

Steal this: Open with the exact problem in the customer's words, then show the fix on camera.

4. REP Fitness: the garage before and after

REP's ad opens on a cluttered garage with the caption "Before REP..." and ends on a finished home gym.

video preview

Ad data:

  • Running for: 906 days (since April 2024), still active
  • Impression rank: #16 of REP Fitness' creatives
  • Format: Video: before and after
  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 6

The hook: the caption "Before REP..." over an empty, messy garage.

Why it works: Every home gym buyer starts with a space like that. The transformation sells the outcome (a gym you'll actually use), and the copy adds free shipping and hassle-free returns to remove the risk of a big purchase.

Steal this: For big-ticket products, show the space or life before, then after.

5. 8Greens: a morning routine in the kitchen

8Greens shows a woman making her greens drink in a normal kitchen. It's the account's most-served creative.

Ad data:

  • Running for: 871 days (since May 2024), still active
  • Impression rank: #1 of 8Greens' creatives
  • Format: Video: demo
  • Markets: US
  • Landing page: product page

The hook: the headline "Mornings with 8Greens 🍋".

Why it works: Supplements are a habit purchase. Showing the drink as part of an ordinary morning makes the routine feel easy to copy, which is what the buyer is really deciding on.

Steal this: Sell the routine your product fits into, not the ingredient list.

6. Rogue Fitness: equipment up close

Rogue's ad is a slow, cinematic close-up of its gear, in Rogue's signature red.

Ad data:

  • Running for: 790 days (since August 2024), still active
  • Impression rank: #36 of Rogue Fitness' creatives
  • Format: Video: demo, cinematic b-roll
  • Markets: US

The hook: the headline "Upgrade your space now!"

Why it works: Rogue buyers care about build quality. Close-up footage of welds, steel and moving parts does the selling that a spec sheet can't.

Steal this: If quality is your edge, get the camera close enough to show it.

7. MUTHA: a first reaction to the product

A creator opens MUTHA's bronzing body butter and reacts as she tries it.

Ad data:

  • Running for: 642 days (since January 2025), still active
  • Impression rank: #10 of MUTHA's creatives
  • Format: Video: demo
  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 10

The hook: "This is like a body moisturizer with a bronzer, and I think it's going to be absolutely amazing on my skin."

Why it works: The first line explains a new product in terms people already know (moisturizer plus bronzer). The live reaction makes the result feel unscripted.

Steal this: Describe a new product as a combination of two things the viewer already buys.

8. DESIGNME Hair: "I'm trying a new way to refresh"

A woman with curly hair tries DESIGNME's curl mist on camera and shows the result.

  • Format: Video: demo, customer testimonial
  • Markets: US, Canada
  • Landing page: product page

The hook: "All right, I'm trying a new way to refresh, so let's see how it goes."

Why it works: "Let's see how it goes" creates a small open loop: you stay to see if it works. The copy then stacks five quick benefits for people who are already convinced.

Steal this: Frame the demo as an experiment so viewers wait for the result.

9. Cadence: "How I pack my shampoo"

Cadence's ad is a packing demo of its magnetic travel capsules. It's the brand's most-served creative.

Ad data:

  • Impression rank: #1 of Cadence's creatives
  • Format: Video: demo, explainer
  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 18

The hook: the on-screen caption "How I pack my shampoo".

Why it works: It borrows the format of a "how I pack" creator video, which people watch anyway. The headline adds social proof: "Over 2 Million Next Travel Gen Containers Sold".

Steal this: Put your product inside a content format your audience already searches for.

10. Harry's: Korean lip care

Harry's launched a black lip balm with an ad that borrows the pull of Korean skincare.

Ad data:

  • Impression rank: #24 of Harry's creatives
  • Format: Video: demo
  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 17

The hook: "We all know about Korean skincare, but do you know about Korean lip care?"

Why it works: It attaches a new product to a trend the viewer already trusts, then asks a question they can't answer. That's a strong reason to keep watching.

Steal this: Open with "You know X, but do you know Y?" where X is a trend your buyer already follows.

11. Leaf Shave: "Dry shampoo does not belong on your face"

Leaf Shave sells a dermaplaning tool with a demo that starts with a surprising line.

Ad data:

  • Impression rank: #15 of Leaf Shave's creatives
  • Format: Video: demo
  • Markets: US
  • Ads using it: 4

The hook: "Dry shampoo does not belong on your face."

Why it works: The opening calls out a beauty hack people have seen online, which makes viewers stop to find out what's wrong with it. The demo then shows the right way to do it with Leaf's tool.

Steal this: Correct a popular mistake in your category in the first line.

Testimonial, founder and social proof ads

Eight ads in this list lead with a person: a customer, a founder or a creator. They sell trust before they sell the product. For more on this style, see what UGC ads are and 10 more examples.

12. Shakti Mat: the review that admits a downside

Shakti Mat's ad quotes a customer who loves the acupressure mat but jokes that it "ruined my sex life", because she now falls asleep on it.

Ad data:

  • Impression rank: #36 of Shakti Mat's creatives
  • Format: Image: review and social proof
  • Markets: US, UK, New Zealand and other markets
  • Ads using it: 26

The hook: the headline "Is it worth it? 🌵" over the customer quote.

Why it works: A review with a funny downside reads as more honest than five-star praise, and it implies the product is so relaxing it puts you to sleep. It's been reused in 26 separate ads.

Steal this: Find the funniest honest review you have and put it in the headline.

13. Dr. Squatch: a thank-you from the founder

This Dr. Squatch video is a personal message from Jack, the founder and CEO, to people who have just ordered.

Ad data:

  • Running for: 986 days (since January 2024), still active
  • Impression rank: #30 of Dr. Squatch's creatives
  • Format: Video: founder story
  • Markets: US

The hook: "Hi, this is Jack, founder and CEO of Dr. Squatch."

Why it works: The headline is "Thanks for Your Order!", so this is a post-purchase ad: it targets new customers to welcome them and build loyalty. It's a reminder that not every long-running ad is trying to win a first sale.

Steal this: Run a founder thank-you video to recent buyers to lift repeat purchases.

You can see more of the brand's ads on our Dr. Squatch ad examples page.

14. LNDR: "We're not for everyone"

LNDR's leggings ad uses a model demo and copy that deliberately turns people away.

Ad data:

  • Running for: 788 days (since August 2024), still active

  • Format: Video: demo, model try-on
  • Markets: US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and other markets
  • Ads using it: 29
  • Landing page: product page

The hook: "Be prepared."

Why it works: The copy says "We're not for everyone. Neither is our Chisel Legging." Exclusivity flips the pitch from "please buy" to "are you serious enough?", and the headline offers a 30-day trial to lower the risk.

Steal this: Tell the wrong customer to scroll past. The right one leans in.

15. Tuft & Paw: "Trust the experts"

Tuft & Paw explains its cat food with a demo and an expert angle.

  • Format: Video: demo, explainer
  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 8

The hook: "This is life-changing cat food, and here's why."

Why it works: The hook makes a big claim and promises the reasons right away. The copy then backs it with credentials (feline nutritionists, human-grade ingredients) and closes with 25% off the first order.

Steal this: Make one bold claim, then immediately say "here's why".

16. Tempo: "Now that I'm a mom"

Tempo's home fitness ad tells a relatable story from a new mom.

Ad data:

  • Running for: 725 days (since October 2024), still active
  • Impression rank: #14 of Tempo's creatives
  • Format: Video: demo, customer testimonial
  • Markets: US

The hook: the caption "Now that I'm a Mom I miss the workout classes I used to take."

Why it works: It sells to a specific life moment. The headline "30 Days Risk-Free" handles the biggest objection for an expensive piece of fitness equipment.

Steal this: Write the hook from inside your buyer's life change, not about your product.

17. The Pod Company: the recovery problem first

The Pod Company sells a portable ice bath by opening on a problem athletes feel.

  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 8
  • Landing page: product page

The hook: "If your arms are feeling tense after doing any physical activities, then you have to try this."

Why it works: "If you feel X, try this" self-selects the audience in the first second. The headline then adds weight with "America's Best-Selling Ice Bath!" and the copy cites 150,000+ customers.

Steal this: Start with "If you [feel this problem]" so the right people stop scrolling.

18. Dog is Human: "Four days"

Dog is Human's ad is a family's story about their itchy dog.

  • Impression rank: #9 of Dog is Human's creatives
  • Format: Video: customer testimonial
  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 18

The hook: "Four days."

Why it works: A two-word hook with a number creates instant curiosity, and the caption answers it: four days to itchy dog relief. Real owners and a real dog make the claim believable.

Steal this: Lead with the time to result, as a number.

19. Ollie: "PSA for busy dog moms"

Ollie's fresh dog food ad speaks to one persona and shows the product in a tidy kitchen. It's the brand's most-served creative.

  • Impression rank: #1 of Ollie's creatives
  • Format: Video: demo, customer testimonial
  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 24

The hook: "PSA for busy dog moms who love when everything is aesthetic and organized."

Why it works: The hook names the exact viewer ("busy dog moms") and a value she holds ("aesthetic and organized"). The headline, "Get 50% OFF Your First Box!", gives her a reason to act now.

Steal this: Start with "PSA for [persona] who [value]" and show the product fitting that value.

Offer-led ads: a reason to act today

16 of the 50 ads put an offer, a free trial or a guarantee in the copy, and 9 lead with a percentage off. These are the ones where the offer is the hook.

20. Spartan: a free training plan

Spartan's ad gives away a free workout guide instead of selling a race entry. It's the brand's #3 creative.

  • Markets: US

The hook: the headline "FREE Spartan Workout Guide".

Why it works: Race entries are a big commitment. A free plan for first-timers starts the relationship with something useful, and the guide naturally leads to signing up for a race.

Steal this: If your product is a big decision, run an ad for the free first step.

21. Thistle: "Autopilot your diet"

Thistle's meal delivery ad pairs a clean flatlay with a first-week discount, and it's in 66 separate ads.

  • Markets: US, Canada, UK, Australia and other markets
  • Ads using it: 66

The hook: the headline "Try Thistle and get 40% off your first week!"

Why it works: "Autopilot your diet" sells the real benefit (not having to think about food), and the first-week offer lowers the cost of trying a subscription. Being reused in 66 ads shows how much the brand leans on it.

Steal this: Pair a one-line benefit on the image with a first-order offer in the headline.

22. Buffy: try it at home for 7 nights

Buffy's ad for its Wiggle pillow offers a free home trial.

  • Ads using it: 21
  • Landing page: Wiggle pillow page

The hook: the headline "Experience Buffy at home for 7 nights for free."

Why it works: Bedding is hard to judge online. A free trial at home removes that doubt, and "The Famous Wiggle Pillow" on the image implies it's already a hit.

Steal this: If customers need to feel your product, lead with the trial, not the price.

23. PATRICKS: "Starting to thin?"

PATRICKS sells hair loss shampoo with a direct question and a low-stock message on the image. It's in 51 ads.

  • Markets: US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and other markets
  • Ads using it: 51

The hook: the headline "Starting To Thin?"

Why it works: The question qualifies the reader in three words. The copy then gets specific, naming 14 active ingredients, and "LOW STOCK" on the image adds urgency without a discount.

Steal this: Ask the question your buyer is quietly asking themselves.

  • Ads using it: 6
  • Landing page: starter kit page

The hook: the headline "Exclusive offer: 25% off Made by Nacho Starter Kit".

Why it works: A starter kit is an easy first purchase, and putting the price, the saving and free shipping on the image means the decision is made before the click.

Steal this: Sell a starter bundle with the price on the creative.

25. Carnivore Snax: "The Original Meat Chips"

Carnivore Snax lines up its flavors in a wide banner and leads with a first-order code.

  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 23

The hook: the headline "Carnivore Snax: The Original 'Meat Chips'".

Why it works: "Meat chips" explains a new snack in two familiar words. The copy adds 10% off the first order, free shipping over $125 and a "before we sell out again" line.

Steal this: Name your product category in two words people already understand.

26. The Farmer's Dog: "Get 50% off"

The Farmer's Dog shows a dog next to its personalized food pack and a big first-order discount.

  • Format: Image: lifestyle
  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 28

The hook: the headline "Get 50% off".

Why it works: The copy line "You can tell what our food is just by looking at it" makes the image the proof: you can see real ingredients. The pack shows the dog's name, which signals personalization.

Steal this: Write copy that tells the viewer to look at the image as evidence.

27. Seed: gut health for under $2 a day

Seed frames its daily synbiotic as a small daily cost. It's the brand's most-served creative.

  • Markets: US, Canada and other markets
  • Ads using it: 14

The hook: the headline "Gut health has never been easier."

Why it works: "Under $2/day" and "less than your daily cup of coffee" make a premium subscription feel small. The image lists the free extras (glass jar, travel vial, shipping) so the offer is clear at a glance.

Steal this: Express a subscription price per day and compare it to a habit.

28. BrüMate: "Shop now before they sell out again"

BrüMate's tumbler ad runs on scarcity.

  • Markets: US

The hook: the headline "SHOP NOW BEFORE THEY SELL OUT AGAIN".

Why it works: The copy claims the tumblers "sold out in 10 minutes or less", which is social proof and urgency in one line. It also calls out the main problem with competitors' tumblers: leaks.

Steal this: If you've sold out before, say so in the headline.

29. Oats Overnight: badges on a busy background

Oats Overnight puts its offer and proof points on top of a crowd of doughnuts that match the flavor.

  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 12

The hook: the headline "25% off your first box automatically and free shipping."

Why it works: Four badges (25% off, 20g protein, 20+ flavors, 120k+ reviews) answer the main objections in a glance. The doughnuts sell the taste of a healthy product.

Steal this: Answer your top objections with badges on the image itself.

Product and benefit statics

Product shots are the most common visual format in this list (17 of 50). The best ones pair the product with one clear claim.

30. Hostage Tape: the sleep hack

Hostage Tape's ad shows a man with mouth tape and pitches it as a sleep routine. It's the brand's #5 creative.

  • Ads using it: 18

The hook: the headline "See Why THIS Sleep Routine Has Everyone Talking".

Why it works: The image is strange enough to stop the scroll, and the headline turns it into curiosity. The click goes to an article-style page, which explains an unfamiliar product before asking for the sale.

Steal this: If your product needs explaining, send the click to an explainer page, not the product page.

31. MUD\WTR: "Your new morning ritual"

MUD\WTR's coffee alternative ad is a moody product shot with the ingredients printed on the tin.

  • Ads using it: 11

The hook: the headline "Your new morning ritual".

Why it works: It positions the product against coffee, not other mushroom drinks, and the long copy answers the obvious question ("Does it give you energy? Yep.") in a conversational tone.

Steal this: Position against the habit you're replacing, then answer the first objection in plain words.

32. Zorali: the hiking sandal in hand

Zorali's ad is a simple shot of its Trailblazer sandal held up against concrete. It runs in 39 ads.

ad

  • Markets: US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and other markets
  • Ads using it: 39

The hook: the headline "Best-Selling Hike Sandals 🏆".

Why it works: A hand-held shot feels like a customer photo, not a studio ad. Over time the brand has paired the same image with a long customer review and with short benefit copy, which is a smart way to test copy without new creative.

Steal this: Keep a winning image and test new copy on top of it.

33. Mid-Day Squares: a bold launch graphic

Mid-Day Squares announces a product with a loud, yellow graphic that matches its packaging.

The hook: "Introducing the Ultimate Functional Square" on the image.

Why it works: The design is all brand: the same yellow and type as the pack, so the ad builds recognition for the shelf. The copy adds proof points (6g of plant protein, 4g of fiber).

Steal this: Make your static look like your packaging so people recognize it in store.

  • Ads using it: 15

The hook: the headline "Carry On - Midnight Black" and the quote "The Apple of Suitcases".

Why it works: The quiet design signals a premium product, and the borrowed comparison ("The Apple of Suitcases") does the positioning in four words.

Steal this: Use a third-party comparison to an iconic brand to set your price point.

35. SALT & STONE: "The viral deodorant that will replace your perfume"

SALT & STONE's deodorant ad is one product, one claim, and it runs in 67 ads.

  • Ads using it: 67

The hook: the headline "#1 Best Selling Deodorant".

Why it works: "Replace your perfume" moves deodorant from a chore into a treat. The copy stacks proof: a POPSUGAR award, thousands of reviews and 2M+ customers.

Steal this: Claim the job of a pricier product your buyer already pays for.

36. Act+Acre: from serum to result

Act+Acre splits the image between its scalp treatment and the result it promises.

  • Ads using it: 5
  • Landing page: product page

The hook: the headline "A Pro-Aging, Peptide Rich Daily Scalp Treatment".

Why it works: The arrow from "Scalp Serums" to "Beautiful Hair" is the whole pitch in one diagram. "Pro-aging" is a fresh, positive spin on a category usually sold with fear.

Steal this: Draw the line from your product to the result, literally.

37. Liquid Death: the Pint of No Return

Liquid Death sells its glassware the way it sells water: with a joke.

The hook: "Turns any liquid into Liquid Death" on the image.

Why it works: The brand voice is the product. Copy like "A murderous glass with an insatiable appetite for Liquid Death" makes merch feel like part of the joke fans already buy into.

Steal this: If you have a strong brand voice, use it on every product, even the boring ones.

38. Dr. Bronner's: the classic, shot clean

Dr. Bronner's ad is a bright portrait with its lavender castile soap and a few benefit callouts.

  • Markets: US
  • Landing page: product page

The hook: the headline "Lavender - Pure-Castile Magic Soap®".

Why it works: A heritage brand doesn't need a clever hook. A clean image, the product name and three short callouts (rich lather, good for body, hands and face) are enough for a product people already know.

Steal this: For a known product, show it clearly and let the name do the work.

39. Yours Only: a note-style routine

Yours Only's scalp mask ad looks like a personal note pinned to a kitchen photo. It runs in 68 ads.

  • Markets: US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and other markets
  • Ads using it: 68
  • Landing page: product page

The hook: the headline "Flaky scalp, flaky skin?"

Why it works: The note reads like a customer's routine ("I put this scalp mask in. Make my coffee and kids lunches."), which shows how little time it takes. The copy adds a partnership with an eczema association for credibility.

Steal this: Write the image text as a first-person routine, in a real setting.

40. Weber: a product launch, done simply

Weber's ad for its Smoque pellet smoker is a dark, clean launch graphic. It's the brand's most-served creative.

  • Impression rank: #1 of Weber's creatives
  • Format: Image: illustration, product shot
  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 15

The hook: the headline "Let Smoky Flavor Flow".

Why it works: Big brands launching a product don't need tricks. "Introducing", the product name and the product itself, with a sensory headline, is exactly what a buyer researching smokers wants to see.

Steal this: For a launch, say "Introducing" and show the product big.

Brand and lifestyle ads

The last group sells a feeling or a look more than a feature. Several of these send people to a social profile or the homepage rather than a product page.

41. Tooletries: an unboxing that's #1 in the account

Tooletries' longest-running ad is an unboxing of its back scrubber. It's the brand's most-served creative and has run for over three years.

  • Format: Video: unboxing
  • Markets: US
  • Landing page: best sellers collection

The hook: the bright yellow box opening on screen.

Why it works: Unboxing is satisfying to watch and shows exactly what you get. The copy is just three words, "Innovative, Functional, Stylish", because the video does the selling.

Steal this: If your packaging looks good, film the unboxing.

42. Bellroy: "Find the system that works for you"

Bellroy uses a four-photo collage to show its bags organized and in use. It runs in 24 ads.

  • Markets: US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and other markets
  • Ads using it: 24

The hook: the headline "Find the system that works for you."

Why it works: The collage shows the inside and the outside: organization detail plus the bag on a real person. "System" turns a bag into a way to feel put together every day.

Steal this: Use a collage to show detail and context in one image.

43. Outdoor Voices: "Find Your Fleece"

Outdoor Voices' most-served creative is a joyful lifestyle photo of a hug in a bright green fleece.

  • Landing page: new arrivals collection

The hook: the headline "Find Your Fleece".

Why it works: It sells the brand's idea of "doing things" with friends, not the jacket's specs. The bright color stands out in a feed full of neutrals.

Steal this: One bold color and one real moment can carry a brand ad for years.

44. lohause: a single frame, shot like art

lohause shows one pair of amber glasses on black, like a museum piece.

The hook: the headline "Frames Inspired by Art and Unique People".

Why it works: The styling matches the claim: the frames look like an object worth collecting. Free delivery in the copy removes one reason to wait.

Steal this: Style the product the way your headline describes it.

45. Bronze Snake: the dress in motion

Bronze Snake's ad is a model walking in its Amaya midi dress.

  • Ads using it: 6
  • Landing page: product page

The hook: the headline "New | Elevate Your Style".

Why it works: Video shows how a dress moves, which photos can't. The copy names the dress and its price ($89), so the click is already qualified.

Steal this: For clothing, show the piece moving and put the price in the copy.

46. JS Industries: surf footage first, product second

JS Industries sells surfboards with high-production footage of them being ridden.

  • Markets: US, Australia
  • Ads using it: 21

The hook: the headline "HYFI 3.0 Available Now".

Why it works: Surfers buy boards they've seen performing. The footage is the proof, and the copy only needs to name the upgrade ("New flex, New look, New feel").

Steal this: For performance gear, lead with the performance on camera.

47. Spot and Tango: a meme that asks for comments

Spot and Tango runs a "your dog calls you" name-generator meme, with a discount code hidden at the end of the copy.

Ad data:

  • Running for: 777 days (since August 2024), still active
  • Impression rank: #20 of Spot and Tango's creatives
  • Format: Image: meme
  • Markets: US

The hook: "We have names for our dogs, but what do they call us? 🤔 Comment your given names below!"

Why it works: Name-generator memes get comments, and comments help an ad spread. The real offer (50% off with a code) is tucked into a P.S., so it feels like a bonus rather than a sales pitch.

Steal this: Run an engagement meme your customers want to share, and slip the offer into a P.S.

48. Parker Thatch: "Warning: Expect compliments!"

Parker Thatch's most-served creative is a street-style shot of its leather sling.

  • Impression rank: #1 of Parker Thatch's creatives
  • Format: Image: lifestyle, model try-on
  • Markets: US and other markets
  • Ads using it: 2

The hook: the headline "Warning: Expect compliments!"

Why it works: The headline sells how the buyer will feel wearing it, which is the real reason people buy a statement bag. The copy adds trust signals: limited production runs, designed in California, female-owned.

Steal this: Sell the reaction your product gets, not the product.

49. Misfits Market: the haul shot

Misfits Market's most-served creative is a table covered in a grocery delivery. It runs in 74 ads, the most of any ad in this list.

  • Markets: US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and other markets
  • Ads using it: 74

The hook: the headline "Support A Better Food System".

Why it works: The haul shows abundance and variety at a glance, and the headline gives buyers a mission to feel good about. It's the creative the brand reuses most.

Steal this: Show everything a customer gets in one overhead shot.

50. memobottle: the bottle that fits in a bag

memobottle shows its flat bottle in hand against a dramatic outdoor background.

  • Impression rank: #46 of memobottle's creatives
  • Format: Image: lifestyle
  • Markets: US, Australia, New Zealand and other markets
  • Ads using it: 26
  • Landing page: Satin Steel collection

The hook: the headline "Flat-Out Better Hydration".

Why it works: The pun in the headline names the product's one difference (it's flat), and the copy explains why that matters: it slips into a bag. The photo credit to a creator hints it's real customer content.

Steal this: Put your one key difference in the headline, as a pun if it fits.

Patterns across these 50 ads

Looking at all 50 ads together, a few things stand out. Every number here comes from the Adspo data behind this list.

  • Long runtimes are normal for winners. The median ad here has run for 764 days. 30 of the 50 have run for more than 2 years, and 5 for more than 3. For 18 more ads ranked purely by runtime, see the longest running Facebook ads of 2026.
  • Images still carry a lot of weight. 29 of the 50 are images and 21 are videos. Offers and product claims mostly run as images.
  • Video means demo. 15 of the 21 videos show the product being used. Very few are pure brand films.
  • Winners get reused. 26 of the 50 creatives run in 10 or more separate ads. Misfits Market's runs in 74, Yours Only's in 68, SALT & STONE's in 67 and Thistle's in 66.
  • Many are the brand's top creative. 9 of the 50 are the most-served creative in their brand's account, and 20 are in the top 10.
  • Offers help, but they aren't everything. 16 of the 50 mention an offer, a free trial or a guarantee in the copy, and 9 use a percentage off. The other 34 run without one.
  • Soft calls to action win. Learn More appears on 29 of these ads and Shop Now on 19. For the primary text, headlines and descriptions behind 40 more long-running ads, see our Facebook ad copy examples.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good example of a Facebook ad?

A good Facebook ad is one a brand keeps paying for. In this list, every ad has run for at least 451 days and is still active, and the median is 764 days. Examples include Tony's Chocolonely's s'mores skillet video (running since July 2022), Spartan's free workout guide (since September 2023) and Thistle's 40% off first week offer, which runs across 66 ads.

What makes a Facebook ad successful?

Across the 50 long-running ads here, the patterns are consistent: show the product working in the first seconds (15 of the 21 videos are demos), make one clear promise, and give a reason to act now, like a first-order discount, a free trial or a guarantee. Most use a plain call to action, with Learn More (29) used more than Shop Now (19).

How long should a Facebook ad run?

There is no fixed limit. Brands keep ads running as long as they keep working. Every ad in this list has run for more than 15 months, 30 of the 50 have run for more than 2 years, and the longest, from Tony's Chocolonely, has run for 1,543 days. Most new ads are switched off within weeks, so runtime is one of the best public signals of a winner.

Are video or image ads better on Facebook?

Both work. Of the 50 longest-running ads in this list, 29 are images and 21 are videos. Images dominate for offers and product benefits, while videos win when the product needs to be shown working, like a razor, a skin product or a travel container.

Where can I find Facebook ad examples?

The free Facebook Ad Library shows any brand's active ads, but you can't sort by how long they've run. Adspo shows ads from 10,000+ verified brands with each creative's runtime, its impression rank in the brand's account, its hook, copy and landing page, and lets you sort by longest running.

How do I know if a competitor's Facebook ad is working?

You can't see a competitor's spend or sales, but you can see strong signals: how long the ad has been running, whether it's being served more than the brand's other ads, and how many separate ads use the same creative. An ad that has run for months, ranks near the top of the brand's account and appears in dozens of ads is almost certainly one the brand is scaling.

Wrapping it up

The best Facebook ad examples aren't the ones that went viral for a week. They're the ones brands keep paying for, month after month. Those ads share a few habits: show the product working, make one clear promise, and give people a reason to act.

Every ad here came from Adspo's data, and you can find the same signals for any brand in your market. Try Adspo free for 7 days.
